Mark began flying R/C Airplanes in the Mid-1980s. At that time, purchasing a new plane meant you had a kit of pre-cut balsa wood and
plans. Building a plane required as much skill as flying them--maybe even more! Over the years, as Mark's interest in the hobby grew, so did his family. After his second child was born,
life began to get in the way of his hobby and the R/C planes rested, untouched, on the shelf for a few years. One day, while Mark was cleaning |

out the basement, his oldest son (then 12 years old), Justin, joined him. Looking around at the large collection of planes, Justin told him that it was
sad that he had all of these planes and didn't fly them. That sparked Mark to pull a few of them out and get them ready for flying again. Little did he know it then, but MOJO Aviation was born in that moment.

Most children's first words are either "Mama" or "Dada." Justin, however, had other priorities. His first spoken word was "Airplane"
(ok, he pronounced it "Upuh", but he was pointing to an airplane overhead when he spoke it!) Justin seemed to be born with a love of airplanes, so it was no real surprise that he took to flying R/C planes so
easily. At twelve years old, after encouraging his father, Mark, to get a few planes in the air again, he soon began to fly solo. When he was unable to put a plane in the air, he was at the computer,
trying new maneuvers on the R/C flight simulator. It didn't take long for Justin to surpass his father's flying skill. Now |
